Btw, as you probably know, you have to unlock the parry skill first and there are some hits/enemies that can't be blocked/parried at all. And you need to be in shield-mode to be able to parry, obviously. You can enable "toggle shield mode" in gameplay preferences, I find that helps.

A bit wonky at times, it's definitely no Witcher or dark souls, but it's infinitely better than the previous AC.
