All I get is a pure white screen at start up, audio works fine, but I can't see to change any settings. I had this issue, the game would boot with a white screen and nothing but audio. I did the alt-enter method (supposedly closes apps that interfere with the game) and it worked for me.

Prbably Steam do something here (and Steam can do it). Try to plug before game. Or vise versa - after game start. Experiment with settings in Steam. Steam Inpit broken more than year ago.
