With the first character of the Kombat Pass now available, it seems there's some confusion around Mortal Kombat 11's Krypt and its wealth of unlockables. We aim to set the record straight with some new details on the DLC characters, as well as give you some tips for unlocking stuff in the Krypt, even after numerous patches.

Players unlock new skins for MK1 characters, a long-standing tradition in the series, they can unlock alternate colors for each skin, as well as custom outfit parts for characters in the form of Extract the aes tool you just got and make a folder inside called Original and put coalesed ini inside it! Then open EXTRACT and it will make folder for you (extract). Open Extract > ConfigDir > MK11Game. Search for the character you want. I want to unlock Mileena! so open MK11Game and search for mID=CHAR_Mileena. In the flags put kCIF_IsUnlocked. Installation. Extract mk11hook.zip to Binaries\Retail folder of Mortal Kombat 11. If you are not sure how to find your Mortal Kombat 11 folder, search for it in your Steam library then right click on the entry and select Manage->Browse local files. Archive breakdown: dinput8.dll - Ultimate ASI Loader. MK11Hook.asi.
DanielBickerton. Go to my games & apps. Go to the MK11 icon and hit the start button (the one with three lines on it.) In the menu that pops up go to manage game and add-ons. Once in that menu, click on Mortal Kombat 11, and then choose to install Story or Story 4K. No idea why they don't pre-install, but there you go.

DLC characters. To unlock all the DLC characters you need to buy one of the Kombat Packs or purchase the fighters you want individually. Shao Kahn, previously available only as a pre-order bonus, can also be bought on the platform of your choice. The Clown Prince of Crown himself.
