Side missions are optional missions or minigames in The Lost Frontier. They are assigned by Precursor statues, pirate radio towers, or characters (such as Dirk Hardpeck or Barter). After stumbling upon him in the Forbidden Jungle, the Fisherman told Jak and Daxter that a lurker shark took a bite out of his fishing boat.
