Unfortunately, Dead Island 2 doesn’t allow you to create your own character. Instead, you can choose one of the main characters whose style you like the most. There are six main characters in total: Amy, Bruno, Carla, Dani, Jacob, and Ryan. Each of them has their own unique outfit to walk around Los Angeles and slay zombies.
Defeating the security guard zombie will drop the Security Guard’s Cooler Key. Players can then walk back to the cooler and receive a baton weapon that could be a bit more powerful than what the
Dead Island 2 isn’t linear though. It’s semi open world. It has zone areas instead of one big open map but theres still room to wander and do sidequests, exploration where you can find things like blueprints and gear, you can travel back and forth between the different zones freely.

Head back toward where you entered the Halperin Hotel area. Stop at the crater in the intersection to find Jamal's red truck. Defeat the now zombified Jamal and pick up his keys. Fool's Gold Walkthrough - Dead Island 2 Lost and Found Quest. To start the Lost and Found Quest in Dead Island 2, you must obtain the first piece of clue, the Totally Legit Letter. To find this clue, you must kill a named zombie called Dante. You can locate him at Lifeguard HQ. Once you pick up the letter from his corpse, a quest will start.
How to Change Skins in Dead Island 2. Make sure you pick Jacob or Amy if you want to use their outfits. Each character has their own progress aside from challenges. If you skipped over the intro, we’ll reiterate quickly that you can’t currently change skins. However, we know at least that the two outfits are Silver Star Jacob and Cyber 6KnE.
