Once I stopped and turned off the ignition it would reset and do it all over again on the next restart. I researched all TSB's to date and as long as the compressor still runs, the dealers would do the following: Replace the dryer (VUB504700) $97.67. Replace the relay (YWB500220) $10.85.

I think that the front suspension was at normal ride height but rear thought it was in the extra extension, get unstuck mode. The discrepancy between front and rear didn't make sense so it gave up. At first I tried the hard reset and got no change, still had suspension fault and front at normal height with rear on bumpstops.
Options Had the same issue - replaced battery which got rid of a bunch of other messages but still got the random suspension faults. 06 with 60K on it - turned out to be the sensor on the front passenger side was faulty , once replaced it stopped - fortunate as that's pretty much the least expensive thing that can go wrong.
What can I check? The air suspension warning light comes up and only stays amber. All of the fucntionalities on the car still works except the air suspension. There are no other lights iluminated on the dash. Sometimes it also says "System fault Terrain Response not available" but sometimes not. Thanks Craig 5187 posts ยท Joined 2007. #13 ยท Aug 11, 2015. Correct. If it senses something wrong, it won't lower. The airbag takes the place of the spring in air suspension, there is still a shock absorber inside. Its like a McPherson strut with a rubber bag instead of a spring. '08 RRS HSE Stornoway Gray. I have: -Replaced the sensor. -check continuity with multimeter from sensor connector back to the large connector under passanger front wheel arch. -checked above mentioned large plugs (very clean) and sprayed with contact cleaner just in case. -removed battery and checked all plugs into computers. Again all very clean. JTiBZM.
