Since warranty is over I am planning to do the oil change myself. Dont want to feed those dealer money that they dont deserve. Now I m confused which oil to buy. The manual recommends Castrol. If so, BMW will tell you the transmission fluid is lifetime. Other schools of thought say change the fluid and filter every 60K miles. If you search this website for "transmission fluid" (all forums, not just the F25 subforum) you will find many discussions on the subject. Some have said they had problems and/or complete transmission failure
