Unacceptable. The thing is, yes the writers can choose whatever kind of fucking ending they wish BUT the audience has been invested in this for the last 4 fucking seasons. Almost everyone was shipping either for Otis and Maeve or Otis and Ruby at least. But the sad ending he got is really depressing.

If you're going to criticize La La Land I think its how Ryan Gosling's character pretends to be the authority on "Jazz" music but he keeps calling it "Jazz" endlessly. And the way he explains it to Emma Stone's character in the "Jazz" club is incredibly simplified and truncated to fit the scene.

At the end when Mia is about to leave Seb's but pauses to make eye contact with Sebastian, there's a really beautiful moment where her face is lit with purple, then she turns and it's blue. It's basic but effective as fuck.

La La Land is overrated. The music in the film is mostly just boring, as opposed to another great musical from 2016, Moana. The songs in that movie were so much more lively and fun. How Far I'll Go totally should have beaten City of Stars at the Oscars. This thread is archived.
The Graduate. I'm around the age of Benjamin's character and recent rewatches of this film have been hitting me extra hard, particularly that famous ending shot of him and Elaine on the back of the bus. 148 upvotes · 54 comments. r/Broadway. Rachel Bloom wants to be in a Broadway show! Someone please cast this genius! She is available and also comes with a built-in audience! That is all. instagram. 118 upvotes · 29 comments. r/popheads. You can see that in how it’s got a 90% from audiences and like a 40% from critics on RT. From my point of view, La La Land has a deeper message than The Greatest Showman plus better scenes, such as the opening number of La La Land. Greatest showman is LOOSLY based on a real person. Its basicly 99% fiction. Gk3Un.
