2021.5 Premium R-Line Seat Memory Problem. This seems like it should be straight forward and might be embarrassing depending on the response. Picked up this vehicle yesterday used with 8k miles, pristine. I programmed memory position 1 by selecting set then pushing button 1, no issues. Today, I tried to program button # 2 for my spouse, nothing. Unlock the vehicle, turn on the accessories (no need to start the car), select user and pick the local user profile you just made, have your other driver adjust everything, save the seat position to #2 if you want, then turn off the accessories, leave the car, and lock the car with the button on that fob #2.
Here's how to turn the memory seat on: 1) Pull the seat all the way forward. 2) Tilt the seat all the way forward. 3) Tilt the seatback all the way forward. It still amazes me that VW dealers don't know how to do this. Thanks DRbillZ. I now have my memory seats working.

If you've noticed some functions in your MMI system have stopped working, then you'll need to inspect the other modules one by one. There is a fairly important module located behind the
There’s a recent update for MMI and a number of people lose seat memory and have to take it back in to get it re-programmed. Does your steering wheel move up and down with entry/exit of the vehicle? If your steering wheel moves and your seat does NOT then you likely have the issue. This is exactly what happened to me.
For reliability freaks, the SC400 has “it.”. The 4.0-liter V8 engine in the 1992 SC400 has specs suitable for today’s car market. 0-60 in 6.9 seconds. 32-valve engine. 250 horsepower. It’s pretty fast for today and amazingly quick for then. But those numbers don’t tell the whole story.
