2020 Mini Cooper Timing Belt Or Chain; Engine Belt Or Chain Interference or Non-Interference
106 posts · Joined 2009. #1 · Nov 19, 2011. Hello, I have a 2004 Mini Cooper S with 73,000 miles on the clock. Its running fine at the moment, well cost me £650 last week for the power steering. At what age/mileage does the cam belt / timing belt / super charger belt need replacing ?
There may be one at 150-200k or something. Lacking such information, I would tend to treat it like any other timing chain issue, unless I know there is a specific problem with the chain (i.e. slop in timing from wear) then I would replace it when I rebuild the engine. 08 RAV4 Limited AWD V6. 05 RAV4 S FWD 5spd -traded for 08.
