I am having to lock the door manually as the remote key doesnt seem to be working. I am assuming the key is faulty or the battery is flat. The only way round this at the moment is to open the door, turn off the ignition, jump out of the car, lock the door manually then run away quickly. Hi I have a problem with central locking on my 2002 Mondeo mk3. When I try to unlock and lock the car via the key fob and with the key only the passenger and rear passenger doors automatically lock and unlock. The drivers door and rear passenger door have no signs of life. I have to lock and unlock the drivers and rear drivers door manually.

The top of the pull handle on the inside is stuck in suggesting the door is not unlocking. All other doors are fine. The electric window on that door will also not operate, and I've noticed the up/down switch does not operate, so I think its a loss of power to the door.
